Scope and Contents

Includes minutes, correspondence and notes of the Professional Staff Council (PSC), as well as Professional Staff Handbooks and drafts. Originally known as Faculty Council, PSC was formed in 1964 as a result of a joint administrative-staff evaluation and acts as a forum for all matters concerning the professional staff. All divisions of the college have representation on the council. When Bank Street unionized in 1997, the Professional Staff Council became known as the Staff Council to include support staff as well as professionals.
