Scope and Contents
Contains nine folders of materials clipped, printed, and photocopied by Ellen Galinsky from mass media daily news publications and periodicals. Commercial magazine and corporate or non-profit newsletter articles are also included. Topics include those which Families and Work Institute was tracking, like family-friendly workplaces, quality in early education, brain development, leaders in work and life dynamics, eating habits of teenagers, and the success of women in the workplace. The source of dozens of articles are The New York Times, as well as Julie Reiss' writing in The Poughkeepsie Journal.

Processing Information
Many newspaper articles printed on acidic newsprint paper were color photocopied to acid-free, buffered paper by the archivist. Original newspaper was discarded after the sub-series was processed.
