This series consists of several sub-series, mainly arranged by topic or project. In a few instances, the format of the material determined the sub-series. The material was primarily created, collected, and filed by Ellen Galinsky for her work at Families and Work Institute, as well as for her work independent of FWI.

Arrangement

Sub-series are nearly all in their original order. File folders of documents were normally filed according to project. Some sub-series folders were generally arranged in alphabetical order when they arrived at Bank Street. Other incoming sub-series folders were chronologically arranged. In a few instances, some sub-series folders were arranged in reverse chronology, and these were arranged in chronological order by the archivist. See arrangement note in each sub-series description for more detail.
